Hi Catspaws, Just dropped by to visit your site! See you after the holidays. Happy Thanksgiving!

This is sad, sudden and shocking.  I am really very sorry to hear this.  The shock this morning was enormous.

I have known Kevin for the last 2 year, but even in that short time I could see that he was a person with outstanding qualities. He was always very friendly and kind to me, and made me feel very comfortable. We were virtual strangers, but he went far out of his way to be a friend.  It is very hard for me to write for my heart is broken.  I will miss him, his support, his laughter, his strong will, his strength, and his kind words.  He was very caring and dedicated person.  He was always approachable and easy to talk to, and that is how he landed me as a friend.  He was one of those rare people in this world who immediately make you feel welcome and comfortable.   I truly enjoyed his pleasant personality.  He was always a source of support when I needed it.  He always managed to make me smile.  We exchanged some emails September 6, 2006   His last email/words to me were:

 

“HI SWEETS !!!

LONG TIME NO HEAR FROM.!!

HOPE ALL IS WELL FOR YOU, I WAS VERY HAPPY TO SEE THAT YOU WERE ON MY SPACE FOR A VISIT... LOOK FORWARD TO MAY BE CATCHING YOU SOON ON MESSENGER,,.

TAKE GREAT CARE”

I cannot believe he passed away in less than 6 days of that note.

 

Cathy I hope you have the strength to deal with this terrible loss.......... I know it will be hard to get through.

 

I already miss him terribly but count myself so fortunate for the time we were friends.  Kevin was a very special friend of mine, and I shall miss him dearly. One day I'll see him again, and until then, I'll continue to laugh and smile, because that's what he would want me to do.  I'm sorry I never got to meet him other than through e-mails and telephone conversations.

 

Cathy I offer my most sincere condolences my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Rest well my friend; you leave behind personal influence on us that is so much more than any of us could appreciate. I shall deeply treasure the kind and warm friendship you've given me.

Now, it's time for another good cry.
